There's been a lot of news about animals walking on their hind-legs lately. Don't know why I find it fascinating, but it might have something to do with the fact that it freaks me out in a evolutionary-leap/humans-are-doomed type of way. ![]() ![]() The dog was trained to walk on his hind legs, having no front ones and all. He is being considered for a role in the next Harry Potter movie. And he has a talent agent. No kidding. This dog has a better career than you. As for the monkey, he started walking upright after a near-death experience. The experts seem to think that brain damage might be the cause. That's right, it's the retarded monkeys that walk upright. Now who's the superior species? ::: posted by dan at 1:40 PM :: [ link ] :: (14) comments ![]() ![]() ![]()
14 previous comments: okay i always thought that monkeys walked on their hind legs when they wanted to. it does look kinda funny with the amputee dog. i bet he is a hell of a dancer. that is some weird shit. By , at 1:04 PM I think I would die if I saw that monkey walking toward me.Just another post on planet dan responsible for my laying awake at night with my eyes squinted shut and a blanket over my head. By Stacy, at 2:17 PM This species of monkey CAN walk upright when they want to, but this particular ape has begun walking upright consistently, never switching to the more usual knuckles to the ground style that we are used to seeing. By , at 2:31 PM Actually, that is not a real monkey at all... it's a man in a monkey suit. It's so obvious. If you don't believe me go to http://www.shefaro.com/id115.htm By Karen, at 3:16 PM Thank gawd the skin bags are no longer at the top... Seriously. By Bitchy Chick, at 4:34 PM That's funny. You're not the first person to say that. I guess those Skin Bags aren't going to catch on as well as I thought. By dan, at 5:04 PM Great, let me get this to my anthropology professor! By Jesse, at 12:54 PM O.K. the one on the left is Edwards and the one on the right is Kerry.....right? I just said "right" twice in the same sentence as kerry and edwards. Bet that has never happened before. By , at 1:42 PM This is a nightmare....a pure nightmare. Why is that dog so angry? I guess because he's an amputee dog and his hind legs are obviously quite tired. And monkey? Somebody give that kid a lollipop and propellar hat and, folks, we've got sheer magic! By Kiddo78, at 1:26 PM I'm terribly confused. I went to http://www.shefaro.com/id115.htm which is supposed to prove that it's a man in a monkey suit, but the page is about goats. Lots of them. Makes me wanna say 'Quoi?" By Rachel, at 3:03 PM Yeah, I'm not sure what those pygmie goats are about either, but that is definitely not a man in a monkey suit. I saw it on CNN with my own eyeballs. By dan, at 4:02 PM I thought I read that both of those animals were female. By Anne, at 9:38 PM Well at least I don't think the dog will out-evolution us. No opposable thumbs. By Marky, at 1:14 AM Eek! By , at 8:56 PM < Back to Blog |
