I think that just because I took a few film study classes at the U that I have better taste than the general public. Of course, anyone who knows me would be able to say "Um, I think you've seen the remake of Sabrina way too many times to be able to call yourself a film snob." Seriously. I can mouth every line of dialogue. I have another secret, too: I've never really liked The Godfather. Parts I, II, nor III. Mobster movies generally seem a little false macho to me. Whenever a guy says his favorite movie is The Godfather, you know the runner-up is going to be Armageddon. I realize I'm in the minority here. I'll relinquish my film snob title, but regardless, this horse head bed pillow is truly inspired. Sadly, it's only available in one color and doesn't match my decor: [FP] The felt pink tongue really adds something. Lots more pics of it here. ::: posted by dan at 11:54 PM :: [ link ] :: (14) comments
14 previous comments: Your tastes have always been a little bit snobbish when it comes to film. Although I do respect them. You suddenly don't like Kevin Smith, or Star Wars and now you don't like the Godfather movies? Ok You never liked the Godfather movies. Still 1 and 2 are among my favorite movies ever. I HATED Armageddon. I love the Pricess Bride, and anything made by Quentin Tarantino. Some of our tastes match. Others are miles apart little bro. By Trekgeekscott, at 7:36 AM whoo boy saw those high school photo lineups. im so glad i had a plain ol face shot with nothing around me! the bowling one is hilarious. my better site is http://xanga.com/bogdana i dont keep up blogger like i should. ciao! By Bogdana, at 11:42 AM Have you seen City of God yet? By lynn, at 12:54 PM I've spent an entire half of a work day on your blog, Dan. It's very addicting. "The Good Girl" is an excellent movie. One of my favorites of all time. I did the name study on my own - before reading any of the responses you received. I did well - as far as fitting into the results you received. Thanks for being so entertaining! Now I should get to my pile of work... By Nikki, at 12:55 PM Nice blog, Dan. For serious. By Jules Von Beckster, at 2:43 PM That pillow has to be one of the coolest things ever! Unfortunately it's not worth getting dumped for which my girlfriend promised she'd do if I got it. *sigh* By , at 2:50 PM Anonymous, you should take a moment and ask yourself: Which would I rather live without, a girlfriend with a dubious sense of style or this whimsical novelty pillow? If you're still in doubt, ask: What would Paul Clemenza do? (hint: girlfriend:gun::pillow:cannoli) By S&J, at 3:53 PM Dan, for years I've been urging you to give The Godfather I & II their due respect. If I recall, I don't think you've ever even watched them. Maybe we should start the movie assignment game again. I might even be willing to watch The Piano if you reconsider The Godfather. If I was still in undergrad, I would buy this pillow in a heartbeat. I can just imagine a freshman floor passing this around night to night. I miss those days of no responsibility that left me with time for pranks galore... By hot babe, at 4:00 PM Jenny~You need to see the piano. It is one of the best movies ever By Stacy, at 7:33 PM Hey, this could be worse. This horse could have been made out of skin. ---- www.tarapfeifer.com By , at 11:37 AM I know what Dan's getting for Christmas! By Kristina, at 4:47 PM I know what Dan is getting for Christmas too!!! A cornholers hat, a racoon tail "butt plug", a decapitated horse head pillow and a visit to his bed from Kristina wearing a crocheted chicken head mask! Dan of PlanetDan you have so much to look forward to this Christmas! I seriously wish I were you. Seriously. I’d get you something for Christmas too, but I don’t think I could top these. You are so lucky, I am so jealous. By Formerly Original Anonymous/hot babes best friend, at 10:02 PM You know...OAP, we could go in on these gift together, I am financially irresponsible and have yet to start my Christmas fund. By Kristina, at 1:40 PM Very nice horsie. I think the next project should be the horse's head from The Tin Drum. Yum! By , at 8:50 PM < Back to Blog |
