Furry took this picture of me at my nerd reunion a couple months ago. I don't remember being drunk, but I don't remember having this much fun either, so I guess I had a bit more to drink than I remember. ::: posted by dan at 1:03 AM :: [ link ] :: (17) comments

When I checked out my picture I realized my arm was flying high over my head in the air (I notice yours is up there somewhere as well) where I could've sworn I was just sitting neatly posing next to my friend at the dinner table. Strange.. By kat, at 3:51 AM Despite once being a nerd, my brother can party! OK I know is it coming. Why do I think Dan is no longer a nerd? Nerds don't dress this well. I don't see any highwater pants, pocket protectors, or bandaid repaired glasses here. He also has good taste in movies and books (when he reads them). His musical taste is questionable but that doesn't make him a nerd. Dan could now be described as a reasonably intellegent (he'll call himself a genious), metrosexual. By Trekgeekscott, at 7:35 AM Metrosexuals are so last year. As for the "reasonably intellegent (sic)" remark, I have confirmation from Miss Leeza Gibbons herself that I am a bonafide genius. By dan, at 9:39 AM This has become my new favorite picture of you. Look at your eyes- so intense. You were the life of the party that night- or at the very least, the social butterfly. You were talking to a whole bunch'a folks at the bar that none of the rest of us knew. And do you really want to take Leeza Gibbons' word as to the level of your "intellegnce" [sic]? By hot babe, at 10:17 AM I thought you were retiring the open-mouthed smile. Brought it back out for a litte sunshine, eh? By Rob, at 12:53 PM I had no idea the open-mouthed smile was still alive and in use until I saw this picture. It was most certainly alcohol induced. What are the odds that such a rare occurence could ever be captured on film? Let alone twice? By dan, at 2:21 PM Open mouth smiles were not retired.Open mouth squinnted shut eyes ones were. This smile style has more attitude and edge, while the open mouth squinted eye variety is kind of hokey and shows an embarrising amount of joy. By Stacy, at 2:25 PM Wow, that is so not the baby brother I know. Psyche! Dan has a wild side? Who knew? Me, cuz I trained him. Hey, do you remember "my mouth is numb. I can't feel my mouth."? !*SMACK*! "Yeah, o.k. now I feel it." No? Treckgeekscott, do YOU remember? Com' on someone has to remember. By Colleen, at 8:11 PM Do I remember my sister getting me drunk when I was 13? Enough so that I would punch my own brother in the mouth? Yes, I remember that. Vividly. It rocked. By dan, at 10:25 PM Yes I remember the incident and it was "my teeth are numb" Thank you so much for bringing up that wonderful memory. The only reason my 13 year old brother didn't get smacked back was that I was too drunk to get out of the hanging chair I was in. Ah the indescretions of youth. By Trekgeekscott, at 7:18 AM I don't know who this guy in the black shirt is but if he is a nerd, where do we sign up? Stud. Hey PlanetDan, PLEASE put back the senior pics. By Anonymous, at 2:45 PM This picture makes me think the ladies are in trouble. By amy leigh, at 2:46 PM Hardly. By dan, at 5:00 PM Oh, yeah, Dan is a stud too. By Anonymous, at 6:26 PM I thought nerds were ugly...?? By Kiddo78, at 10:20 PM Oh, and Anonymous, I don't think the Senior Pictures will be back. It will, however, live on in my memory as one of the best things I've ever laid eyes upon. Well, that and Ty from Trading Spaces... By Kiddo78, at 2:18 AM forget metrosexual, you both look homosexual! By , at 7:55 AM < Back to Blog |
