I braved a snowstorm to FINALLY see The Scissor Sisters live last night, and wow, they put on a really good show. Continuing on with my series of bad camera-phone concert pics where it's too blurry and far away to see anything so the point of posting them becomes lost anyway: It was honestly one of the best shows I've ever seen. And again, I got another concert T-shirt to add to my seldomly worn concert T-shirt collection, but this one has a better chance of being worn than most of the others, even though it's pink and currently smells like a pee-filled ashtry. ::: posted by dan at 1:46 PM :: [ link ] :: (6) comments

Any song that has an ode to porn and masturbation is a'ight with me. By BigDubb, at 10:53 AM It's nice of you not to give me any credit for purchasing the t-shirt for you or for acknowledging I also braved the weather to go too. Whatever... PS Thanks for buying the tickets. And FYI you sound old when you say "they put on a really good show." It needs to be cooler and sexier than that, like: "God damn that show kicked ass!" Or "Jesus Christ! That show made me wet!" That would be fitting of the Scissor Sisters show. By brent, at 12:40 PM I'm sorry but who are the scissor sisters? By ceclipse26, at 1:17 PM The Scissor Sisters are a band that everyone should give a good listen. I don't think that exclaimations like "Jesus Christ! That show made me wet!" sounds too natural coming from dan. I might go as far as to say it was funky, but that's about as hip as I get. Thanks for the shirt, B*. By dan, at 2:27 PM Scissor Sisters - yeah! I'm going with some friends to see them here in Denver tonight. They played here a few months ago and it was definitely one of my favorite shows ever. It made me feel all giddy and filthy gorgeous.... I would be heartbroken if the weather interfered with their traveling from there to here...although when they do get here they can revel in the 60-70 degree temps we've had the past few days! By denverboy, at 5:55 PM Wow, I just watched them on Conan O'Brien. They sounded great! They did "Take Your Mama"...I am definately buying the album now. I have to say that the lead (guy) singer reminded me of an odd cross bewteen Freddie Mercury and George Michael. (The way he acted/moved/dressed...the whole deal). Funky.
