Happy Halloween in July

It was effin' hot outside today so I stayed inside and rifled through a bunch of old boxes in search of a giant chunk of old hair from some girl who let me shave her head almost a decade ago. I just wanted to see if I was disgusting enough to keep it this long. I didn't find the hair, but I did find one of my long lost costume pictures to help complete my online Halloween scrapbook:

I'm supposed to be a magician. You can tell by the moustache. Duh.

You only helped shave my head, after I couldn't get the back even. And 4 or 5 people took home chunks of hair, didn't they? Weird.

Actually, ElJay, the only people at your head shaving party were Heather and I. You started it off with a chunk or two, but I pretty much had to do most of the work. I don't know how many people you distributed chunks to after the fact, but I cannot seem to find mine...

Lynn and JD were there, too, at least. And we cut it all off in chunks first, and then I took the first swipe at it with the clippers. You hardly did "most of the work."

Of course, it's your blog, so I guess your personal myth is the important one here, not mine. ;) You should've seen the extensions I got a couple of years later.

I actually did Trick or Treat in July with my neighbor/friend Heather at the age of 8.

We totally caught the neighbors off-guard, who proceeded to give us stuff despite their lack of candy.
