A Handmade Halloween

Reminder: Halloween is only three weeks away.

Advice: Make your own costume this year. Star Wars always brings out the best in people. Mix in a little cardboard, and you got the kind of Halloween that dreams are made of.

A+++++ for effort. But for real, I shouldn't be mocking handmade costumes of any caliber. I don't think I've been invited to any parties this year, so I won't have to get dressed up, which is probably a good thing.

It totally kills me that the hair for 1988 Claire Huxtable and 1989 Cleopatra are the same wig with beading on the top.

And the expression on your face in the rootin tootin cowboy picture is quite possibly the most adorable thing I have ever seen.

You could drag out the Tommy Lee garb this year & tell people you're Evil Dick from Big Brother 8. Get a rude t-shirt, paint your nails black, smoke like a chimney, & you'll nail it.

my tinfoil hat's off to you planetdan, talk about self disclosure...but halloween is a traditionally bad holiday for me, especially since i won a fifth of jim beam as "most original" at the Maynard, OH volunteer fire department halloween Polka dance. (how could i lose, everyone else came dressed as a redneck.) the enchantment of that evening faded real quick after the jb inspired race to the bottom. i never did find my costume but my hair eventually grew back. so, you kids have fun...keep it hot, keep it safe.

You're not dressing up for Halloween!? A friend directed me to your blog last year and I laughed my ass off at the Halloween section. I was checking in to see if any decisions had been made, and I discovered this. My heart is broken. Have you considered Mystery from the VH1 reality show "The Pick-Up Artist"? I'm making a friend do it, because I so would if I were a dude.
