It's not just that I have cool friends, it's that my friends have cool babies, so the cycle of coolness never ends. For instance, Kwatts and Cwatts have the cutest baby ever, and she's already displaying a tendency for having awesome taste in TV: I think my favorite part is when the intro ends and she slumps down from the TV, dejected and depressed. I know how you feel, Lil' E. I used to get that excited too, and it's been a loooong year without them. :( ::: posted by dan at 11:29 AM :: [ link ] :: (14) comments
14 previous comments: wow that's a cute baby not so sure if Gilmore Girls represents good taste, though By , at 12:57 PM No, you're right, it probably more accurately represents above average intelligence and KICK ASS taste. By dan, at 12:59 PM I love how Dad looks at the camera like "My God, will you SHUT UP?" and then rolls his eyes at her. But then, bossy and overbearing women will have that effect on men. By , at 1:36 PM I feel your pain Lil' E, I feel your pain. By raven, at 2:37 PM Actually, I think he's rolling his eyes at the Gilmore Girls "quirky" dialogue he looooves so much. I can say that after 5 years of marriage I doubt he even hears me, the bossy wife, anymore. By , at 2:43 PM true dat, wives just love to make men's lives miserable. i mean, she just gave birth to my baby, the least she could do is just leave me alone! i am actually rolling my eyes thinking "why doesn't rory's boyfriend just chill out about that picnic basket? it isn't like that guy from heroes is trying to score with her or anything...or is he...???" -kwatts By , at 6:21 PM SO CUTE! I love when she turns around and then does that breathy giggle like, "can you BELIEVE how great this song is?" Love it! By Twinkie, at 6:47 PM That poor child is being Gilmore Girls abused! So sad(sniff, sniff). . . . By August, at 8:16 PM cute baby, but i'm not so sure about Gilmore Girls being "awesome" By , at 10:00 PM What's with the snarky comment on Mommy who's just trying to capture the maximum cuteness of the baby's response? A lot would have been lost if we didn't see how the theme song, by itself, eclipsed all other life, love and meaning for this babe. That sudden body swing was priceless. By , at 7:51 AM I think snarky mom comment was in order. I'd be irked too if I was the husband. By , at 8:39 AM as a newborn, my son always perked up when he heard that song (which was a lot), but really jammed out to the end credits. he's 2.5 now and asks to watch "dilmo' duhls." he gives a running commentary, like "ha! dilmo' duhl drinking boffee!" By , at 9:59 AM Duh, the kid is a Carole King fan NOT a Gilmore Girls fan...sorry Daniel By , at 12:39 PM Kind of weird hearing another baby being called Eleanor... I thought *I* had the only baby Eleanor! I enjoy when I get onto her at the store for being handsy, when I say her name sternly all these old ladies swing their blue hairdo's around to see if I'm talking to them.
