I'm too swamped with work to think of anything new to post these last few days, so instead I will just repost one of my favorite videos ever, in case you missed it. If you're new to this video, it's a clip from my local news station as they interview a trailer park community after one of the mobile homes unexpectedly explodes. "Trailer all blowed up," has been a catchphrase in certain circles ever since. Classic. Although I think my favorite part is when the woman makes a special mention of the damage caused to her precious aquarium. Some people might think this is too stereotypical to be real, but trust me, it's fer real. ::: posted by dan at 8:07 PM :: [ link ] :: (13) comments

Get arrested for something lewd (true or not) you lose your job, your house, skip a few AA meetings & boom you’re eating out of the dumpster at Barnacle Bill. Yeah laugh now Danny Boy but you and I both know out off all your family and friends you’ve the most likely to end in a trailer park, except for maybe your kick ball teammate who killed his parents. By , at 12:20 AM Trailer All Blowed Up!!! Heheheh... I think that guys hair is attached to the hat... By CampBlood, at 7:35 AM I do not know why but when I heard trialer all blowed up it reminded me of Teddy go down the hole. My mind works in mysterious ways! By Heidi, at 10:08 AM Trailer...not trialer(damn fingers) By Heidi, at 10:10 AM Nice! SCTV from Canada...Joe Flaherty and John Candy played Big Jim and Billy Sol. They talked briefly with "celebrity guests", and then blew them up. Neil Sedaka? "He blowed up real good." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7w1fhankqPU&NR=1 By , at 3:38 PM OMG it's Dale from King of the Hill! By june, at 3:47 PM http://forums.fark.com/cgi/fark/comments.pl?IDLink=3495634 Got a Fark green light out of that clip! thanks Dan By , at 5:16 PM Wait, isn't it Boomhauer from King of the Hill? Where are you from, Dan?! And when did this air? 'Cuz I really wonder if they based Boomhauer on that guy. Thanks for sharing. By katie, at 6:26 PM Yes! Boomhauer, sorry. I've only seen maybe 3 episodes of that show ever, but that character's weird way of speaking stuck with me (although his name obviously didn't). I always thought Mike Judge invented it because it resembled nothing I've ever heard IRL--until now! By june, at 7:14 PM I'm from Minneapolis but this happened in a remote town outside of the cities about three years ago. OH, and speaking of Barnacle Bills, I saw Madam Von Bighair on Easter Sunday, she’s a Catholic. C- By , at 4:00 PM I currently live in Alabama. I thought we had cornered the market on rednecks, but the more I talk to people and after seeing this, I stand corrected. On a side note; whats with the ads I consistently see on this site for "Asian girls for dating"? Dan, what did you do to get this? By , at 6:10 PM < Back to Blog |
