Cuteness Quiz

I'm sick of seeing that hairy-eared guy every time I pull up my site, so here is a page-pushing blog post to save the day AND our eyes:

Which of these baby animals is the cutest?

A. Elephant:

B. Hippo:

C. Rhino:

There is a clear loser here. In fact, I hear this noise every time I look at that baby rhino pic. Man, is that thing ugly. It's so ugly its mama doesn't even love it. There's very few baby animals that aren't cute by default, but that thing looks like the mutant baby in Eraserhead. Barf.

The baby hippo wins my vote for cutest. But for the record that baby elephant is far uglier than the baby rhino.

Clearly, the rhino is cutest, because (s)he isn't trying!
Both the elephant and the hippo _know_ they are cute and loved, they are trying way too hard to look cute. I'm all for natural cuteness!

If I am forced to choose between these three photos, I choose B, the hippo. But I think in general, baby elephants are cuter. You just picked a horrible picture of one, probably in some unethical gerrymandering scheme for the hippo's campaign. Baby elephants' cuteness is also enhanced when seen in video. Yay!
