Animated Friday (My Favorite Things Edition)!

Did you know that fountain soda is one of my all-time favorite things on the planet? It's miles ahead of canned soda, which itself is miles ahead of bottles soda. So even though this looks unfortunate, I bet it's not really all that unpleasant:

fountain soda is hit or miss, depending on the quality of the water, but I agree that canned is far superior to (plastic) bottled.

The hierarchy should be more like this:

bottled (glass)
canned
fountain
bottled (plastic)

I'm a fellow Minnesotan and long-time reader. I have to agree with you that fountain soda is far better than canned or bottled. So, I had to share with you: If you ever find yourself traveling south of the cities, near the Faribault area, there is a local restaurant called "The Broaster" that has THE BEST fountain soda. They must have a different mixing ratio or something. You'll have to check it out if you are ever in the area...

I also like the taste of fountain soda better...it is sweeter and less fizzy or something... but I will no longer drink it because of the concern with residual sugar and calories that could collect in the spout of the diet selection...
