Countdown to V-Day: Volume 4

'Tis true.

The other day there were about a hundred of these mugs at the charity thrift store (where they sell used items and other unwanted treasures from generous donors) for $1.69 each. C-Minus and I contemplated buying one for everyone we knew but we figured that they would all probably end up back at that very same charity thrift store some day - because it's basically where mugs emblazoned with bad jokes go to die - and we didn't want to contribute to that never-ending cycle of madness.

I seriously want one! Where did you find them? I think $1.69 is a small price to pay for sheer delight.

BTW, I saw you in a back issue of Mpls/St. Paul magazine someone had left in our breakroom. I pointed it out to my nearby co-workers and was all, "I totally read his blog!!" You are a celebrity!

Believe me, I got a couple copies of that magazine in storage for future scrapbooking.

AS for the mug, it is from ARC Value Village in Richfield, and they probably got TONS left, since I think the joke might be lost on them.

You could have bought a bunch and then offered them to your loyal readers for $5 plus shipping and handling and made a fortune!
